Baugher’s Apple Cider E. coli Outbreak Lawsuit - Maryland (2010)

Baugher’s apple cider was determined to be the source of an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak among Maryland residents in the fall of 2010.  Persons who had consumed the E. coli-contaminated apple cider became ill in late October, and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene confirmed the link between the apple cider and E. coli cases in early November.

The E. coli lawyers at Marler Clark filed the first lawsuit against Baugher’s Orchard and Farm on November 10, 2010.  The law firm dismissed the lawsuit after the claim was resolved.
