Brook-Lea Settles Suit

News 8 has learned that the civil lawsuit filed against Brooklea Country Club in Gates earlier this year has been settled.
Bill Marler, of the high-power Marler Clark law firm in Seattle, was representing some 70 victims who had gotten sick from salmonella poisoning last summer.
He says the suit, seeking millions of dollars in pain and suffering damages, was settled last week.
He won’t disclose the dollar amount of the settlement, but he says that the terms were to the satisfaction of his clients.
